  2. This is basically the "Hitler liked dogs, you don't like dogs, do you?" Argument. Just bc the guy used to work as a prison guard doesn't mean he's going to treat workers like prisoners, that's dumb as hell. It's just a job.

You leftists are so reductive in your reasoning, you live in a delusional world where all authority figures are always bad, and all criminals are always innocent victims of the system. And I'm not defending our prison system, it's totally fucked, but that doesn't mean we should just burn the whole thing down, we need reasonable and pragmatic reform. And there are good people in law enforcement just like there are bad people, and there are innocent victims who shouldn't be locked up, but there are also a lot of legitimately dangerous people who shouldn't be on the streets.

  6. The left is easily manipulated by fear. I'm sure working at Amazon is no holiday in Tahiti, but it's not like anyone is forcing you to work there, if it were really as bad as sensationalized shit like this makes it out to be, nobody would work there. I've known people who worked there, they said it's terribly boring and they work you pretty hard, but the pay is better than you can get at most other places if you don't have a degree and maybe a sketchy record.

  10. Because prisoners can leave any time they want, of their own free will, and get paid $15-20/hr without having to have a degree or any specialized experience. Sure. Same thing.
