I'm pretty sure that would have the opposite effect you think it would, if more people actually saw what the procedure looks like, support for abortions would probably dramatically decline, I'm guessing to the point where it would be federally banned and this wouldn't even be a political issue anymore. Only the small percentage of far leftists who are completely morally broken would still support it.
