And stupid people tend to think they can draw a clear line between "good" and "bad" people. That's what makes them so easy to manipulate, all you have to do is find a way to convince them you're the "good" people and they'll blindly follow any nonsense you tell them to follow.

@dylanbuchanan6511 as you get older, you'll start to realize that most leftists don't really have any principles at all, they just align themselves with whatever political entity they think will allow them to work the least and have the most. That's pretty much what leftism is. It just has many different ways of trying to manipulate people into believing in the utopia.

@dylanbuchanan6511 generally speaking, yes, they are. Conservatism hasn't changed that much, some things have changed as society has changed, but as a whole, conservative principles are by and large the same as they've always been. That doesn't mean every single conservative is a virtuous man of principle, but on average, yes, conservatives are absolutely more virtuous and principled than leftists. Why else would someone still be a conservative when every powerful institution in the world is marching in lock step with increasingly more leftist beliefs?
