DeSantis is actually doing a lot of the things in Florida that Bernie falsely claimed he would do while campaigning. Floridians are living free and the economy is thriving. That's what Bernie supporters wanted, Bernie is just a leftist grifter, and DeSantis is actually achieving those goals. So it's no reversal on Rogan's part, and it shouldn't come as a surprise. A lot of people who don't pay a lot of attention to politics supported Bernie, that's his entire shtick, he says things that sound nice to people who don't know anything. Now that Rogan has started paying more attention, he's seeing that representatives like DeSantis are actually doing the things that leftist liars claim to have a plan for.

John Smith yes, most of them are absolute monsters, because they've sacrificed everything for their obsession with money. That's why they have all the money. I'm sure you care about living your life and doing the things you want to do. Which is why you don't have money. That's how it works. People who are obsessed with money are the best at making money, just like people who are obsessed with music are the best at making music, and people who are obsessed with dancing are the best at dancing. And they usually sacrifice everything else for that. You want to have all that money without making the sacrifices to get it. Which makes you also a monster, just a different kind of monster. @kodyk.7649 The average employee doesn't have the knowledge or skills to be a CEO, and isn't willing to put in the time and obsessive dedication. That's why most people are employees and very few people are CEOs.

@R it's not about how much money he has, it's about the principles he claims to have. If he really cared about poor people as much as he says he does, and thinks it's the responsibility of the wealthy to take care of him, he would be taking care of some poor people. Those are his standards, not mine. I don't give a shit if he or anyone else is wealthy. 3 million may not be a lot compared to Congress, but it's a lot compared to you and me.

@ryancappo and the right wingers were 100% correct about covid, all of the restrictions did absolutely nothing except tank the economy, just like we were saying the entire time. There's no significant difference in health outcomes between the nations and states that had heavier restrictions and the ones who had little to no restrictions, if anything the more restricted areas actually had worse numbers with the virus. And everyone knows this now, and not a soul on the left is saying "oh whoops, I guess we were wrong."

1. Yes, poverty does often drive people to get themselves out of poverty by their own merits. 2. Paternity leave is stupid, at least the idea of the government forcing employers to pay for it. If they want to pay for it, fine, up to them, if it's such a great idea everyone would do it. 3. What? People can't hang out with politicians you don't like? 4. Giving out "free" checks to everyone is absolutely a major contributor to inflation, because that money wasn't generated, it was just poofed into existence through magic government power (hint, it's not magic, it's just something we'll have to owe later, in other words, inflation) 5. The stimulus checks definitely predated a rise in unemployment. So there's no reason to believe UBI wouldn't have the same effect, except even greater and longer sustained.

@Rumplesti1tskin possession usually isn't shit anyway, if it's the only offense. This whole leftist narrative of people being in prison just for possession is completely false, it's a fabrication, one of the many lies your puppet masters feed you. Most people who are serving time for a possession charge were charged with multiple crimes, usually a violent crime, and took a plea deal down to possession, or they have an entire novel full of priors. If all you have is weed you'll usually just get a slap on the wrist.

@Jay-vc6pf healthcare can be cheap, accessible, or high quality, but it can only be 2 of those things. Period. That's how it is. You cannot have all 3. You have to choose 2, if you want all 3, you will end up with none. What the US currently has is the most easily accessible and highest quality healthcare in the history of the world. But it's not cheap. All of the other nations you mentioned have either low accessibility, and more commonly, very low quality healthcare. Considering the US has the most severe drug problem the world has ever seen, I don't think we should try to rock that boat and fuck around with the access or quality people have to healthcare.

You act like the universe just decided "there are (x) number of corporate entities who have (y) number of CEOs, so be it!" Which shows you have absolutely zero understanding of how markets work. Sure there isn't infinite space for market expansion, but for all intents and purposes is may as well be infinite, with the number of people and needs there are in the world. You can start a company and be your own CEO today, and obviously it's not easy and there's a lot of things you have to do first, but there isn't any kind of legal barrier making it impossible for you.

That's how people like Bernie are able to manipulate you so easily, they know you're stupid. People like DeSantis know that not everyone is as stupid as you, they say "hey, I'm just going to let you work and earn money", and that actually works. Because that's how life works. You have to work hard to have the things you want. Always. Or not. You can sit on your ass an play Xbox all day, you have the freedom to do that. But you won't have much. You'll live a bleak and meaningless existence. In communism, or in capitalism. Difference is, capitalism allows you to have an Xbox. Communism doesn't.
