  1. It's seriously pretty disturbing. It's split down the middle between people saying they wish he had killed him, and people trying to downplay it and acting like it's no big deal. I don't see a single leftist saying "ok, maybe don't try to kill SC Justices." Pretty straight forward, not a hot take, but they can't even come to that completely sane and rational conclusion. These people are genuinely not well.

  16.  @feynmanschwingere_mc2270  I'm just going off of what's been reported so far, that he went with the intent to kill Justice Kavanaugh, (by his own admission) and when he saw armed Marshalls he changed his mind and called 911. If you're suggesting that's incorrect, sure, I guess we don't know that with absolute certainty, but you're basically going into conspiracy territory if you're saying otherwise, that's the best evidence we have right now and you have absolutely zero evidence that's not true. But I know the entire leftist worldview is based on conspiracy theories, so that's not surprising.

  21.  @laurad4822  you're completely missing the point there, I don't think many, if any conservatives are saying that mental health should be an excuse for people to not be held accountable for horrible actions, we're just saying that we need to look at the underlying cause of why people do these things in the first place rather than just going after the tools they use to do it. To prevent further actions in the future.

And the US also consumes 75% of the world's total pharmacuedical drugs, which is also a relatively new thing. Think there may be a correlation there?
