Even if there were some way to reach the leftist utopia within this world, it could only be done by stripping humanity of everything that makes us human. That doesn't sound very much like utopia to me. All of the things that suck have to exist for anything to be good, we're only happy because sometimes we're sad, we're only excited because sometimes we're bored, and we're only rich because sometimes we're poor.

@deadprivacy I read it in John Goodman's voice, from the Hangover Pt 3, where he says "Leslie Chow is madness. You don't talk to madness. If you're lucky, you lock it in the trunk of your limousine and shoot it."

@deadprivacy they're more culturally relevant than most people realize, it's sort of the "last generation" of offensive comedies. Going back and watching them now is insane, because the outrage mob would lose their shit if a movie came out making those jokes today. I'm actually kinda surprised they haven't tried to retroactively cancel them. It's good stuff, all sorts of isms and phobias in the jokes.

@deadprivacy lmao, you're never too grown up for the Hangover movies. The plot is a little dumb and childish, you would be forgiven for thinking it's just dumb college humor. And it's kind of that, but they're actually great movies with a lot of subtext.

@johneyton5452 I dunno, but when Chow busts out of the back of the van, butt naked, and shouts "YOU TRYING TO FUCK ON ME, GAY BOYS!?!?!?!" and attacks them...... I'm pretty sure they would take offense to that 🤣🤣🤣
