I'm 39 and was just a few steps away from giving up. I met my fiancee when I was 38 and we had a baby a few months ago. It's tough, but it's not impossible. Just know what you want and don't compromise.

@TheGreenKnight500 it's definitely not too late, although it does get more difficult at your age, increasingly more difficult the older you get. But there are decent women who have been burned by shitty guys too. You probably aren't gonna find a young, gorgeous, starry eyed girl of your dreams, she's gonna have some baggage too. But so do you, so do I, and so does my fiancee. None of us are perfect.

@KevTheImpaler I'm pretty sure a woman wouldn't tell you she let a guy piss on her if it wasn't true. I'm not saying women are always honest, all the time, far from it. But that's not on the list of most common lies.

@TheGreenKnight500 well, do something to increase your own stock then. Improve your financial situation, work out, get healthier. Start getting involved in something you enjoy doing, that's a good place to meet someone. Just because you share a common interest doesn't mean you're right for each other, but it's a good start.

@alunjones3860 at a bar, believe it or not. Yes, I am very aware that's not the best place to meet a long term partner, but it just kinda happened like that. It wasn't a drunken hookup though, my drunk ass just started talking to her and we exchanged numbers, started liking each other a lot as we talked.
