  1. I've always been disgusted by the idea of people being prescribed daily pain medication for prolonged periods of time. Pain medication is supposed to be a temporary alleviation, for undergoing surgery or for recovering from an injury, it's something that just helps with temporary pain caused by something that's being treated. The ONLY reason a doctor would prescribe pain medication for an extended or even permanent amount of time is for money.
