I love animals as much as the next guy, but this idea that we should value their lives as much as our own is ridiculous. You can't find a single species in the world that values the lives of another species more than their own, and there's nothing wrong with that, it's just basic survival.

@blunderingfool homeless people cook food. Nobody is that destitute. The reason people drink raw eggs is because the proteins break down differently if you cook them. Pretty sure it's an outdated method that we now know doesn't really do much of anything, but back then it was something people did when they were trying to build muscle.

@blunderingfool too poor to cook eggs🤣 so how did he afford the eggs?? I dunno, again, maybe it's some quirk about Rocky being an idiot. But I've never heard of that. It was just a meme before memes were a thing, drinking raw eggs made him look tough, plus like I said, people thought you got more protein that way.

@sameash3153 I guess that's a better explanation than he's too poor, but it's not like it takes a long time to cook eggs. I don't think he's going to lose a fight because he spent 5 less minutes punching frozen meat.
