There's a 100% chance that the activist was only at the comedy show in the first place to go hunting for something to be outraged about. Everyone knows activists don't like comedy, or anything fun. It's the only possible reason they could have been there.

When I was a teenager, I liked Limp Bizkit and thought it was funny to say "that's what she said" as a response to nearly everything anyone said, just in the hopes it would be funny one out of 100 times. Letting teenagers make life altering, permanent decisions is complete madness.

With very few exceptions, it's stupid music for stupid people. And I don't expect every song to be profound poetry, some simplistic songs are just catchy and fun, but the majority of rap is just so basic and thoughtless.

@SeeDaRipper... I'm sure there are some artists that are intelligent, and write meaningful lyrics, but you won't find them in mainstream rap and hip hop. It's all contrived nonsense that was copied off of someone who copied it off someone else, who copied it off someone else. It's all the same fart noises.

They're like a health department weasel that audits restaurants, but is really looking more for a lapse in paperwork or arbitrary procedure than any actual, immediate health risks. Except the inspector is at least getting paid by an employer, and food safety can actually harm people if not done properly. The outrage auditors are just self employed freelancers, and their currency is social media clout. We are a silly culture.

We don't refer to a dog that has 4 legs as a 4 legged dog, or a quadraped or anything like that, the assumption is that a dog has 4 legs. If a dog has 3 legs you might call it a tripod, or some other reference to it having 3 legs, because it goes against the assumption of a "normal dog". And that doesn't mean you hate dogs with 3 legs either, it's just an observation that they're abnormal.

Seriously, judges are supposed to determine extremely difficult distinctions, like self defense vs murder, justified force vs unjust, etc etc. Even dogs know the difference between a man and a woman.

@weareharbinger914 Alex Jones was right about the frogs btw, sorta. He was talking about a lake that had chemical runoff from a plant, and a huge percentage of adult frogs were changing sex. This isn't that uncommon with a lot of frog species, they can switch from male to female during the tadpole stage, or female to male, and sometimes even as adults. But the percentage in this particular lake was extremely high, and definitely not a natural occurrence.

@Problembeing I've been a conservative all my adult life, at least something right leaning, probably more libertarian than traditional conservative, and I've also never had a problem with gay people. I hate this false paradigm that you're either on the left and you love gay people and think they're inherent saints that can never do anything wrong, or you're on the right and you hate gay people. That's just simply not true. There are normal people who think gay people are also normal people, and people can love whoever they want to love as long as it's not hurting anyone.

@nakkadu causation doesn't equal correlation. Just because we can see the change in the climate during the time of industrialization doesn't mean it's caused by industrialization. Especially considering there have been more rapid and dramatic changes predating humans by a long time. But you would know that if you had a novice understanding of science. Either that or you do know that, and you're a liar.

@ericdodson2644 well, one of the inherent weaknesses of liberal philosophy, and valuing individualism over collectivism is that we suck at being collective. And the leftist hive mind is obsessively collective. So whether or not people like you and I ignore it, it's going to have social effects. A lot of people are just going to go along with it because they don't want to be called naughty names.

@nakkadu you can't quantify man made climate change, because we don't have a control planet, we only have a variable. We don't know what the climate would look like without human intervention, unless we can find a "control" planet that's similar enough to earth, but without industrialization. That's just basic science.

I think everyone needs to understand that we're dealing with propaganda from multiple angles, there's the pro Russia, the pro Ukraine, and then all of western media's interpretation of any and all of that. Everyone has a dog in the fight, and in many cases their motivation isn't really about what's actually going on.

It's sort of like being a priest, or a preacher, at a certain point when you learn enough about it, you learn a lot of it is bullshit. Then you can either stick by your principles and get out, or just say fuck it, I've invested a lot of time, effort, and money in this. Better make that money back.

This is a common leftist tactic, they take an extremely rare outlier and pretend like it completely invalidates the rule. Yes, intersex people exist, but it's extremely rare, and it doesn't mean anyone can be any gender they say they are. It means exceptions exist.
