With very few exceptions, it's stupid music for stupid people. And I don't expect every song to be profound poetry, some simplistic songs are just catchy and fun, but the majority of rap is just so basic and thoughtless.

@SeeDaRipper... I'm sure there are some artists that are intelligent, and write meaningful lyrics, but you won't find them in mainstream rap and hip hop. It's all contrived nonsense that was copied off of someone who copied it off someone else, who copied it off someone else. It's all the same fart noises.

There are several states in the US that banned collecting rain water. Their excuse is the prevention of disease, but let's be real about it, the real reason is so they can charge you an arm and a leg for something that falls out of the sky for free.
