  1. The most nonsensical position. I can understand pro life and anti death penalty, pro life and pro death penalty, or pro choice and pro death penalty. But how can you think an unborn baby deserves to die but malicious criminals don't? Absolutely absurd.

  2. Not just them, the constituents who voted for the death penalty. Whether you agree with it is neither here nor there, we have an elective process for these kind of things.

  3.  @davidgiles9651  if there's a suspicion they were wrongfully convicted, there can be an appeal. I have no problem with that. I have a problem with the President abusing his power by ruling by decree and overriding a decision that was already made through the proper judicial process.

  6.  @uf9309  I think something needs to be done to limit the powers of an outgoing administration after the election. It's kind of hard to believe we don't already have that, if a Democrat wins in '28, what's going to stop Trump from just going nuts and pardoning whoever he wants, like Biden is doing. Pretty sure Democrats won't like that too much, but they have no room to complain if they're supporting this.
