Yea so what? That seems like a logical thing to do if you're being accused of sex crimes. What ever happened to the presumption of innocence? Does that only apply to people ideologically aligned with the left?

To..... Prove his innocence? You know that's a thing lawyers do, right? I'm not saying that he's innocent, or guilty, because I don't know that. But just because the guy hired a lawyer doesn't mean he's guilty.

@Ace hiring a lawyer that specializes in the crime you're being accused of isn't an admission of guilt though. That's my point. Theres also a ten mile long paper trail leading to and from Hillary's crimes, any reasonable person knows she's a criminal. The evidence against Gaetz looks pretty damning, and there's a high probability he's guilty. But that still remains to be seen, and there's also obvious vested interests from democrats in framing him.

Because there's a thing called the presumption of innocence. You don't get sentenced to prison over accusations.

@jenniferjean leftists defend predators on their side all the time. The difference with you and regular people, is regular people actually believe in the presumption of innocence. I'm not "defending" Gaetz because I know he's innocent, because I don't. But you don't either. And I've been consistent on this position with the countless leftists that have been accused of similar crimes too.
