  5.  @whyamimrpink78  that person is just talking out of their ass, I've been watching MMA for 20 years, and casually follow boxing, I've never heard of a single incident where someone went into cardiac arrest due to a strike or even tangentially related cardiac arrest in the ring or octagon. That doesn't mean it's never happened, but it's at least never happened in a high profile fight, or ever at all to my knowledge.
