  1. Every leftist propaganda pusher does that, they've figured out how easy their audience is to manipulate, by just constantly pausing and giving their interpretation before the listener can really hear what the person in question is saying, they can effectively insert any narrative they want.

  2. Pakman being sneaky by saying the numbers aren't inflated, that's a pretty generalized half truth, it depends on what numbers you're talking about. The overall infections aren't, since we can't really know every single one unless we test every person in the world. But the death toll is absolutely overblown, considering every covid positive death was counted as a death from covid. Even CNN admits this now, and they're as dishonest as Pakman. Just in a different direction.
