@rorycannon7295 but you're not get any profits from people who don't buy anything, because they don't have any money. It doesn't make any sense from a business perspective to price people out of buying your product.

@ksantecombos7348 because they're stupid answers. There is no profit incentive to make people homeless, it's not some huge conspiracy by the evil capitalist corporations. Corporations would rather everyone work and buy a bunch of nonsense they don't need, that's where profit comes from. A homeless guy spending whatever he can beg for on booze and drugs does nothing for governments and corporations that want more power and money, the only reason they don't push to reduce homelessness is because it would cost them more money to get homeless addicts straight than the amount of money they're losing by having fewer consumers.

Because some people make bad decisions, and no amount of free handouts in the world will ever change that. It will just increase the scale of what they can do with their bad decisions.
