Saying you have to do certain things in order to vote isn't "denying a right", and being required to get off your ass and go stand in line once every 2 years isn't exactly a herculean task.

With some exceptions, like military service overseas, if you can't get off your ass once every 2 or 4 years to go vote, then you shouldn't vote.

@barracuda861 are you seriously suggesting that being uncomfortable is a good enough reason to risk election security? And I'm fine with mail in voting for specific exemptions like military and disability. But you have to be able to prove you have a legitimate exemption.

@andreaswiklund7197 I would be fine with it being a federal holiday, we already have a thousand holidays, what's one more? Even having polls open for several days or even a full week, that should be a large enough window for everyone who wants to vote. But you have to actually go vote in person, unless you have a legitimate and verifiable reason for exemption. People have died for the right to vote, getting off your ass once every 2 years and being bored in a line isn't that bad.

It speaks volumes that the left knows democrats can only win by weakening election security and getting the vote of every disinterested idiot that knows nothing about politics and doesn't care.
