Yea that didn't happen. The regular person was likely just saying there should be less regulations, and you took that to mean no regulations, because you're dishonest.

@Wastok I've had the exact same conversation numerous times, every single time you try to say that regulations are a big part of the problem with US economics, leftists dishonestly take that to mean you want no regulations at all. It's the one and only tactic that 100% of leftists use, in 100% of online discourse. Dishonesty. Leftists can't even be honest by accident, your head would probably burst into flames if you ever told the truth.

But if everyone votes on what they want, don't we get what the most people want? You guys are always shrieking about "muh democracy", I'm pretty sure that's precisely how democracy works.

@Dsullivann every citizen has a right to vote, that doesn't mean the government has to hold your hand and make everything as easy as possible. If you can't figure out a way to get up and go vote once every 2 or 4 years, then you don't really care about voting. And the ONLY reason someone would favor breaking down every possible barrier to make voting as easy as possible is if they want to sway the vote to favor candidates that less informed voters tend to vote for. There is absolutely no other explanation. Most Democrat voters aren't smart enough to understand that, that's what makes them democrat voters, but that's precisely what the Democrat party is and always has been doing, everything possible, both legally and illegally, to get more uninformed voters voting for bad policies that hurt the American people.
