  3. That's not the key word at all, intent is usually completely meaningless in law. The only time that ever comes into play is incidents like self defense or other specific circumstances where intent can be proven and changes the nature of the crime.

  9.  @alphaomega5909  yep, about the most intent usually matters where the law is concerned, is with sentencing. If a judge feels like a defendant just made an honest mistake, they're more likely to hand down a lenient sentence than if they come across like they knew what they were doing and just didn't give a shit. But a crime is still a crime, they're not going to let you off without charges because of "intent". Of course the left doesn't give a shit about any of that. "My team is always right" is the only thing leftists care about.

There were over 500 far left riots in a single year, and media ran cover for them, brushed it off as "mostly peaceful", and still won't shut up about the one right wing riot that's happened in the past decade.
