@tristanm4332 if you break your leg in an accident that's not your fault, you can't unbreak your leg. That's just how life works. Sometimes shitty stuff happens. If you don't want to take the risk, then don't drive, or don't have sex. And yes, that's incredibly lame and no way to live life. So just take the risk and live your life, and be prepared for bad things to happen even through no fault of your own. It's called being an adult. Sometimes it's a bitch.

How often does the lunatic far left come up with an outrageous idea, and the so called moderate left says, "hold on, that's kinda nuts. Let's cool off on that."? Never. The fact that most conservatives are telling you they're not coming after same sex marriage should show you they're probably not. I'm telling you right now that I don't care about same sex marriage or contraception, and the vast, vast majority of people on the right are with me on that. Leftists don't experience emotions the same way an in-tact human does, but most members of mammalian or even bird species have an altruistic bond with other members of their own species.

@stnrodriguez and a baby isn't a toddler, but the distinctions between levels of development are arbitrary when we're talking about whether a human is a human and has value. All humans have value. Even leftists, and you contribute absolutely nothing to society, all you do is extract. But that's ok, you're still a person and your life has value, because there's a possibility you'll grow up and stop being a leftist, and actually be a functioning member of society. And just that potential alone is enough for your life to have value. An unborn baby has far more potential than you, and that's why their right to life is so important.

Ok, so those cases should be viewed separately, the same as self defense cases are viewed separately than homicide, and if it's not clearly established then some kind of oversight can be set up to determine whether it was legitimately pregnancy by assault, no? Because I'm ok with that written into law, I don't think assault victims should have to see their pregnancy through either. But these cases in terms of abortion are exceedingly rare, less than 1% of abortions. But is this really your position? Or do you think a woman should be able to get an abortion for any reason she wants? Because I don't, just like I don't think you should be able to kill someone just because you want to. I think killing someone because they're trying to kill you is completely different than killing someone for any other reason, and warrants a separate law and legislation, as it already does.

@RoyalHeart12 oh ok. So don't trust the numbers, because you say so. Even though you don't have anything to back that claim. Not to mention this is completely beside the point, my original point was that it's pointless to even argue for rape and incest cases when your position is that all abortion should be legal. That would be like me saying murder should be legal, and arguing that self defense exists as a means to argue for all murder being legal. It's ridiculous, it makes absolutely zero sense.
