  1. Guns have been part of American culture as long as there has been an America. And we didn't see this level of gun violence until fairly recently. If you think guns are the problem, then you're not even making an effort to actually understand what's going on.

  2.  @Artman1  American boys used to get guns when they were 12 or 13, it was completely normal. And we didn't have mass shootings back then, we didn't have gang violence. All of that entered American culture much, much later than guns were introduced, guns have been part of American culture for the entirety of America's existence. If you really think guns are the root of the problem, then you haven't given more than 10 seconds of critical thought to it

  3. A very brief search into where this violence is happening would show you that it's not nationwide, the vast majority of gun violence happens in a handful of big cities, that all have Democrat leadership.

  4. I think it depends on how you break down the age brackets. If they're just looking at under 18, which I would have to assume they are, then it's probably guns because of gang violence in inner cities, plus it's not like 8 year olds are ODing on fentanyl, not often at least. Those numbers would probably go up if we were looking at say 13-18, or a similar age bracket, excluding pre-teens. Of course Pakman is dishonestly misleading his audience to think this is all school shootings and that kind of thing, which is complete bullshit, and he knows it's bullshit, the overwhelming majority of kids being killed by guns is due to gang violence. But he wouldn't dare tell his idiot audience that.

For every one of those tragedies, there's another 10 that are just gang violence in inner cities. Leftist media just ignores it, because it doesn't help their political agenda.
