And this trend is consistent across nations, across generations, it seems to be a universal truth. The left is idealistic, the right is realistic, and as you mature you start to see the world more like it really is, and less like you want it to be.

  9.  @shawnmurray9964  government has always been involved in what teachers are allowed to teach in public schools, and Disney had special provisions that allowed them to act outside of US law, essentially as a sovereign nation. He simply proposed legislation to revoke those special privileges. Nice try. Admit you were being willfully dishonest and we can continue. You and I both know you were being dishonest, I'm giving you an opportunity to be honest this time and admit it.

  13.  @mr.anderson3369  that's the most nonsensical cope I've ever seen, and I've seen a whole lot of nonsensical excuses from leftists as to why people tend to go right as they get older. It's because you get more wise and grounded as you get older. That's it. It's really that simple. Leftist ideology is childish, it's surface level. More and more as you gain more wisdom, you realize the surface level solutions from the left aren't really solutions at all, and would only cause new problems. Because that's what they always do. Half of the problems the left complains about were caused by leftism.

  14.  @oliver_twistor  this isn't speculation though, there is endless data tracking this, from voting demographics to surveys, there are overwhelmingly more people who go from left to right than right to left. And people do tend to be moderate as they get older too, but most people on the right are more moderate to begin with. There's always been more extremism on the left than right.
