@johnprina3924 if she was to actually live by her principles, then she would voluntarily pay whatever tax rate she advocates for her income bracket to pay. Anything otherwise is a tacit admission that A) she doesn't actually live by her stated principles, and B) socialism requires force.

@themaestro3034 uppity, arrogant, holier than thou. They think because they're educated in one particular field, that it translates to them being expert about everything. And most of them have an extremely surface level knowledge of politics, and don't seem to understand that what's best for the city isn't always best for the suburbs or rural areas.

@bertthompson4748 exactly, that's why there shouldn't be sweeping, federal legislation. Because not every American has the same living situation. If cities want to strip their citizens of their right to self defense, be my guest, but you don't get to tell rural Americans how to live their lives.

@crisisalert3029 gun rights is the biggest, most obvious example. Guns are much more necessary in rural America, where you have feral hogs and numerous other wild animals that could threaten livestock. Not to mention police response times are much longer than in the city.

@bertthompson4748 the exception would be denying Americans their constitutional right to bear arms. Which I'm firmly against out of principle, but if some liberal shithole wants to vote for it and strip their citizens rights, I guess there's not much I can do about that other than avoid the city. Because I'm not a psychotic authoritarian like you lefties all are, I understand the concept of letting people live in ways I don't personally approve of.

The majority of democrat voters are apathetic city folk who don't know and don't care about politics. That's why they're always pushing for maximum voter turnout, because they can only win with low information voters turning out en masse.
