@geegaw1535 yea you're making a valid point I think a lot of people fail to realize. I always hear about how people don't make enough money, we need to raise minimum wage, gimme this gimme that. Nobody ever talks about most Americans' spending habits.

@kaleidoset2569 this is exactly what I'm talking about, all I ever see from the left is excuses, it's always someone else's fault, it's always someone else who's somehow taken something from you, usually some rich dude on the other side of the country who you've never even met in passing. And yea, sometimes things suck that aren't your fault, sometimes bad things happen to you that you can't control. So control the things you can. Live within your means, if you're having problems getting by on your current income, think of ways to make a better income, and ways to spend less money.

I know you probably think it doesn't matter, and it really doesn't matter that much, especially when talking to some random person on the internet, but if you start from there and actually start caring about little things, maybe you can start to improve your life. This is what the leftist cult doesn't want you to know, they want slaves that can't help themselves if their life depended on it. There's a lot of things you can change on your own, and it starts small.

@SandhillCrane42 so basically what you've demonstrated is that your tiny brain is only capable of thinking in extremes, you think the only options are to never take personal responsibility for anything, under and circumstances (left leaning, apparently), or that everything is always the sole responsibility of the individual, in all circumstances (right leaning, apparently). Meanwhile, in reality, the overwhelming majority of people are somewhere in the middle. But you can't comprehend that, because you're completely bat shit insane, and your brain is a potato.
