There was a black kid that opened fire at a Texas school several weeks ago and was released without charge, the police even took him to get food. @davidlanger3295 yes, I do, and yes, criminals are protected under the constitution, but you also have a constitutional right to defend yourself. Which is what Rittenhouse did. Which is abundantly clear by every single piece of evidence that's been put forward.

@davidlanger3295 it doesn't matter whether or not he's an upstanding citizen, his overall moral character is not on trial. He's on trial for murder, for which the overwhelming plurality of evidence proves he is not guilty of, and he did not commit any felonies in being there. The most he could reasonably be charged with is a misdemeanor gun charge, which is also highly unlikely since it's not illegal in Wisconsin for a 17 year old to be in possession of a firearm, it's only illegal for him to own it, and the gun was legally owned and registered.

Black did not break any law by purchasing the gun, he bought it fully legal, and was holding it until Kyle turned 18, when he was planning on legally transferring ownership to Kyle. You are flat out incorrect. And funny how you keep shifting to different points every time your last stupid point gets proven wrong. Getting out ahead of it now, your next line of defense will be "he just shouldn't have been there", that's how these arguments always go. And that's completely irrelevant, since the mouth breathing rioters shouldn't have been there either.

@davidlanger3295 no, you're just incorrect. If Rittenhouse really broke any gun laws I'm all for him facing consequences for that. But I hate to break it to you, even if he was in violation of some law in possessing the firearm, that's not a felony, he's not likely to face any time for that. Especially considering the circumstances of the trial, he would likely just get probation.

If Jan 6th happened every day for a year, across most of the country, and 500 of them included violent incidents, I would say ok guys that's enough, I do not support this anymore. If you were in law school and you were asked to come up with a hypothetical situation that's very clearly self defense, you would probably give a situation similar to this, with Rittenhouse being the obvious innocent victim who acted in self defense. It's really that clearly defined, there is no debate here whatsoever. The left is purely acting in tribal nature with this.
