@vietnamd0820 no, race based legislation is inherently racist. All of it. No exceptions. You think it's good racism, I think you're wrong, because all racism is bad, but it is absolutely racism, there is no debate, that is not a matter of opinion, that is a fact, by absolutely every reasonable measure, legislation that differentiates between races is racism. Period. You just can't come to terms with the fact that you support racist policy.

@vietnamd0820 yes, because that's not legislation from the state, that's the owner of an institution making his own policy, the same as there are black only universities. I don't like it, and that would be a racist policy, the same as black only universities are also racist, but that should be allowed under federal law since it's not racism being mandated by law, like affirmative action is. It's just an individual running his business in a racist way. I also think you're racist if you attend a white only, or black only school.

@vietnamd0820 you don't need racism to counter act racism. You need meritocracy. And if that means some groups are more or less represented in some things, so what, that doesn't automatically equal racism, it means people are different and they make different choices, so they get different results.

@vietnamd0820 because it's race based legislation. That's as straight forward as it gets, that's racism, there is no other way to interpret it. Even slavery wasn't as directly racial.

@PhotoTrekr why do you keep assuming that people are ok with past racism just because they're not ok with present racism? That's extremely dishonest. People get killed too, so should we just kill the people who killed them? Then we kill those people. Where does it end? At a certain point you have to just stop, and say the past was wrong, let's stop being wrong. Racism will never end racism, just like violence will never end violence.
