  1. If online media companies want to police speech, then they shouldn't have any special protections from lawsuits. Private users should be able to sue them for defamation from other private users. The same as you would be able to sue a magazine or newspaper for publishing a defamatory piece against you. Or they can just let anyone say whatever they want and wash their hands of legal liability. But they have to pick a lane.

  2. People who support free speech should still oppose online censorship on principle though, if you believe in free speech on principle that is. They wouldn't censor political opinions if there wasn't public sentiment encouraging it.

  3. They should be held to the same legal standard as any other publisher. Because that's what they are, if they want to police speech. They're no longer a platform. If a newspaper or TV station runs a false story, they're fair game for lawsuits against them. Social media has special protection. They shouldn't.

I honestly don't even understand how someone as stupid as you could get that conclusion, so you must be just being dishonest to try and prove whatever stupid point you think you're making. I'm only saying that a lot of the tactics between antifa and Nazis are the same, label groups as "others" to justify violence, and gradually extend the definition of what those "others" are until it's everyone outside of your specific group. That part is exactly the same. They just have different groups that they label as "others".
