The career homerun record was broken by Hank Aaron, and then Barry Bonds who currently holds it. There's still a lot of less significant records Babe holds that will probably never be broken, because during his career he was doing things that were just unheard of, comparing him to his competition at the time is absolutely unreal, it's like he was another species.
