"Plain and simple" is the part that doesn't check out with the people in question. These are the same people who think men can get pregnant. Even the most plain and simple concepts are not plain and simple to them.

I absolutely love how the same people crying about how someone else should have to pay their debts will turn up their noses at people "less educated" than them. They forget the difference between being educated and being well educated.

@Nostradevus1 let's say I ask you to borrow $20. You may not have intended that as a free handout, you're under the assumption I'm going to pay you back. But until I do pay you back, it's a free handout. When I pay you back, then we're all square. What part of this is the part you don't understand?

@paladinr3016 because typically with bankruptcy there's some physical property that can be seized by the bank as collateral, like a car or a house. Student debt holders have nothing but a degree, which is obviously not worth the paper it's printed on. Otherwise they would be able to use it to find a job they can use to pay their debt.

@007kingifrit but democrats have been promising free money for their entire lives, and never deliver. At least not without strings attached that result in them actually having less spending power. At a certain point even the selfish thing to do would be to vote for someone else. They know democrats aren't gonna give them free money. Or at least they would know, if their brain wasn't upside down and backwards.

@MamaMOB but the guarantee is the whole point. That's how the wealthy elites can keep just kicking imaginary money around between themselves, while normal Americans' cost of living keeps going up.
