I don't think Sean is wrong in any of his analysis, but I think an extremely big part of why there's such outrage, that seems so obvious but I don't see many people talking about, is the anecdote Dave shared about his friend. He actually shined a light on the elephant in the room that we all know, that the far left are the real bullies, the real violent faction, who hides behind identity to pretend like they're the victims. This probably sounds like beating a dead horse to most of the people watching this channel, but that's not so clearly visible to everyone, for someone like Dave, who has a huge platform of viewers from all over the political spectrum to come out and say that will probably kind of activate a light bulb that everyone has probably seen in one way or another, but may not want to speak out about because of the perception of them being bigoted in some way. Again, I know that sounds silly to most of us, but I'm thinking about the masses, the mostly apolitical normies. They've probably seen how aggressive the far left is towards non believers, but a mainstream voice acknowledging the same thing is a major shot fired in the direction of the far left movement.

Yea Gemma was pretty awful, she had the whole "I didn't ask for this" attitude, but actually yea, she did ask for it when she agreed to be the godparent, and even if she changed her mind when it became a reality, the dad's parents offered to step in and even wanted to. She did have a bit of a redemption arc, so there's that. But it's still hard to actually like her. Btw, I wouldn't really consider this comment a spoiler, since I didn't give too much away, and this is one of the most straight forward movies I've recently seen. There's really not much to give away, you can pretty much guess the ending just from the trailer. Still a good movie though.

It really irritates me when conservatives say that Pakman is "one of the honest leftists" or something to that effect, no, no he's really not. At all. He's polite and articulate, and doesn't dive into hyperbole as much as other leftists, but he's arguably the worst of all of them, because he's very persuasive at telling half truths, and you know without any reasonable doubt whatsoever that he's being dishonest, because in order for him to be able to pull out the cherry picked sources that are favorable to the left, he certainly is aware of all of the other mountains of data that goes against his narrative. But he knows his audience, he knows they won't check anything, he can find one extremely biased poll that shows what he wants and present that only, and his audience will never know about the dozens of other polls that say the opposite. But he's "not technically lying".

There's a clear and growing divide between atheists and anti-theists. Usually, the noisy ones are anti-theists, and a very large portion of them have fallen into the far left cult. Atheists are not like them at all, I'm an atheist and I have no problem with religion or religious people, I don't like extremism or cults, but I recognize that the majority of religious people, Christians in particular are moderates, they're normal people who just want to live a good life and respect others and be respected. I'm 100% behind that, I agree with traditional Christian values, I just don't agree with the entire ideology. It's really annoying and frustrating how the far left anti-theists try to play tug of war with people who are non believers but don't buy their cult nonsense, I have far more in common with Christian conservatives than I do with atheist leftists. There's something seriously wrong with those weirdos.

@bobjohnson1633 I work at a kennel, doggie day care and boarding, all that stuff, and there's a black family that brings a white and brindle french bulldog, really bizarre coat coloring, I haven't asked but I'm sure the dog cost them a completely absurd amount of money, french bulldogs are one of the most expensive breeds on average, and weird coat colors like that typically cost the most money. And wouldn't ya know it, their card is declined almost every time they check out, they're always complaining about our pricing, they feed the dog the cheapest generic food, the ole Roy Walmart brand bullshit. Blows my mind that they would spend most likely thousands of dollars on a "luxury" dog from a breeder and they can barely afford basic upkeep.

@Dr.Sho_Minamimoto nope, she wasn't forced at all, that was a whole thing early in the movie, when she first got Cady home she had gotten a letter from her dad's parents, offering to take Cady in Florida and take care of her, because they knew it would be overwhelming for her. There was even a social worker sent out to see if Gemma was fit to be her guardian, or if she should go with the grandparents. Gemma was really hostile about it too, we never met the grandparents, so maybe they're awful or something? It didn't really say anything like that in the movie though, my guess is because Gemma is a STRONG INDEPENDENT WOMAAAAAAAANNNNN!!!!!!!!! And she doesn't need nobody else, she can handle being a parent AND her working career, and the patriarchy ain't gonna tell her otherwise! Slay queeeeeeen!!!!!

I'm just south of Houston, I had to wear a mask at most businesses for a few months, but even in the beginning nobody cared that much, if I saw other people not wearing a mask I would take mine off and nobody ever said anything. My work slowed down to a crawl for the first 6 months or so, I work at a kennel that boards dogs, so our businesses relies pretty heavily on people taking vacations. So yea, that sucked, and now our business has picked up to even heavier than before covid, but we're understaffed, so that sucks. But I've really only felt secondary or tertiary effects, Texas didn't go too over the top.

It's been really dissapointing to see so many conservatives cheering this on, and I do get that it hasn't been as extreme or widespread as the left, but it's still way too many people. I get that the CEO was not a good person, nobody has to tell me how horrible insurance megacorps are, I'm closer to libertarian than conservative. But this is not the way, you don't get to do this to someone just because they're involved in repulsive business practices that cause harm, we need to change the system. Not to mention in the eyes of progressives, none of us are any different from him, we're all capitalists, and we're all evil, in their mind.

@levanmikadze4748 yea he has a lot of the good qualities that Trump has, without most of the negatives. Larry is friendly and likable, with a fun loving attitude, he smiles a lot, he's funny. Not that Trump isn't funny, he's freaking hilarious, but it's a different kind of funny, Larry is witty, Trump is just an unfiltered jerk. And I love Trump too, I'm not one of those TDS weirdos, but I'm definitely aware of his less than savory qualities.

I've always maintained that a lot of advocates do more harm than good for legalizing. They tend to oversell the medicinal benefits and act like it's some kind of magic cure for everything, and it comes across as them just being degenerate potheads that want an excuse to get high all day. And I'm not even saying that's my opinion, but that's how it comes across to normies that still think of it as "the devil's lettuce". There's not even any need to oversell it, it does have medicinal benefits and helps alleviate a whole range of different ailments, it just doesn't really cure anything. And that's fine, over the counter pain killers like ibuprofen don't cure anything either, but helping alleviate a headache or some joint pain is sure as hell useful, nobody thinks of ibuprofen as illegitimate or not real medicine. They should just drop that and take the liberty angle, because it really is a strong argument, who cares why I want to smoke weed, I just want to smoke it and it's not harming you. Bang. Solid argument.

Thank god for the suburbs, I live about 20 miles south of Houston, it's pretty nice here. It's not perfect, there are homeless people, there is some crime, but it's mostly a safe area, and people are mostly normal, you don't encounter far left creatures very often. When I do go into the city, usually for an Astros game, it's a whole different world. Just driving through you can see a noticeable difference in the kind of people walking around. And this is Houston, one of the more "normal" downtown areas.

At the risk of sounding petty, and honestly I don't care if I'm being petty, and I probably am, we've seen how the left blindly defends criminals, no matter how clear it is that they were 100% in the wrong. So I'm going to blindly defend people who are defending themselves from criminals, even if they are partially in the wrong. Sure, this criminal may have been attempting to flee, in a normal society I would say that the store employee was out of line, but we do not live in a normal society, we live in a society where criminals are defended and encouraged, and law enforcement does nothing about it. So if this sends a message to would be criminals, that you may get shot even if you're trying to run away, then I'm here for it. Someone has to stand up to this madness.

@j3music789 it's especially sad because I used to really like his content back in the day, when it was just strictly cult stuff. He had such a level headed approach to it, he didn't go into videos trying to prove that a group was a cult, or not a cult, he just examined the characteristics, applied it to the BITE model, and saw where it ended up. And he was raised Jehovah's Witness, that's why it's a passion project of his, his childhood was pretty jacked up, he developed a meth problem and had a rough road. And he's completely blinded by the fact that he's fallen into old ways, but now he's in the far left cult. And he thinks Trump supporters are a cult. Seriously, he made a video about that, that was kind of like the beginning of the end of his objectivity, and his transition into the realm of far left propaganda.

@jaycee2070 being poor in the DR and being poor in the US are a little different when it comes to baseball though, because pretty much every young boy plays ball in the DR, that's just what you do, because it's your way off the island. What Sean said is generally true, but he also overlooked some cultural differences, it's not like poor American kids CAN'T be great baseball players, but they're facing a lot more relative disadvantages, there's also a lot of issues that DR players face and overcome, like the fact that they swing at EVERYTHING, because hey, you're not gonna get noticed by drawing 3 walks in the one game a scout is at. You gotta hit hit hit. This is often a problem when they come to the US, but a lot of them overcome that with American coaching and fine tuning.

@jessejive117 yea I get what you mean, it's definitely better that they're finally waking up rather than never. But I still don't think their motivations are genuine, I think they're only doing it because they know their dishonest house of cards is falling, and they're probably going to pretend like they didn't go completely bat shit insane for 2 years, as though we're all so stupid we'll just pretend the absolute shit show of the last 2 years never happened. So that's freaking annoying, you can already see what they're trying to do 10 steps ahead of time, and they know we know, and they don't care, because they know their idiot minion leftists will all just go along with it. But still, better late than never, I guess? And even if it's just theater, it's a step in the right direction.

@frosty848 I think their reasoning (and I'm not saying it's reasonable, I'm only saying in their mind it sounds reasonable) is because Yang pushed back on some of the identity politics shit, not even necessarily out of principle, it seemed to be more strategic, he was kinda saying hey guys, maybe let's not hate white men so much, because we're alienating potential voters, the far left whackodoodles started labeling Yang and his supporters as "far right". And also, he appealed to the angry, militant, incel type socialists who hate the world and feel left out, which for some reason the far left likes to label as far right, even though these nutbags are very clearly very far left. Keep in mind the people pushing this don't actually believe it, they're just trying to shame the far left into having an increasingly uniform belief structure, by labelling everyone outside of their extremely specific set of beliefs as "far right".
