@KhordKitty after they started hailing Luigi as a hero, that signalled for all the pundits to stop pretending like they're caring and tolerant. They're just straight up aggressive and evil now. They always were, but they're showing it more freely.

@jameschandler5 yea I got the overall point, and I agree. This is actually a great example of why this is all such complete madness, if something like this can happen in volleyball, a sport that's overall relatively safe, at least as far as life threatening injuries go, then imagine what can happen in more physical sports.

@jameschandler5 I don't even think you can call volleyball a contact sport. And sure, accidents happen, but an accident this severe is far less likely to happen if everyone has a comparable amount of physical strength.

@jameschandler5 freaking ridiculous, how could we let this happen, as a society? I don't mean you, or me, or probably anyone else reading this. We've always known it was wrong, and were willing to speak up, and most people know it's wrong. But they're not willing to speak up, because they're terrified of being called a bigot. It's pathetic.

Go to their comments and let everyone know, most of their viewers will never see this in their echo chamber. Most of them won't care, but there's still about 5% of progressives that have a tiny little sliver of humanity left, and they'll be disgusted by this.

@Leslie_Knope but not most of us, most of us have enough sense to know that wrong is wrong, even if we can understand and sympathize with why people are angry. Being angry doesn't give you the right to hurt other people, it makes you just as bad as the people you're angry at. That's the general sentiment I've seen on the right. Just about 100% of the left thinks he's a hero, if anyone disagrees, they're too cowardly to say so.

@Leslie_Knope all of the left hails him as a hero, only some on the right are sympathetic towards him, and we rightfully mock them as immature losers.

@nickkoyle3599 I played baseball, I could take a volleyball to the face full force, it's big and squishy. I still don't think men should be allowed to play with women, but let's not act like volleyball is a scary sport.
