You either like sausages, or you like tacos, or you like sausages and tacos. Those are the only 3 options. And people who like tacos don't all like the same kind of tacos, but they all like tacos, and maybe you like both but you like sausages a little more than tacos, or vice versa, but you still like sausages and tacos. You don't need to give yourself a separate category to try to seem more unique and interesting, you can do that by actually being an interesting person. Attaching your entire identity to what kind of sausages or tacos you like is boring, and not interesting at all.

@p.s.shnabel3409 I dunno man, there's a little shame. It's ok, it's better to realize the things you used to like were dumb than to never realize that and keep liking dumb stuff. But there's nothing wrong with feeling a little shame, that's how you prevent liking more dumb stuff in the future. You remember the sense of shame you felt for the dumb stuff you liked before.

@k1ngfalcongaming783 so what would be the main thing that you would say changed your mind, if you could just oversimplify it? I'm sure the full explanation is quite a lot, I'm just curious about the general parts, but more than happy to really hear the full story too.

Mythbusters actually proved that shooting fish in a barrel isn't as easy as you would think, they have a slick membrane on their scales that makes the bullets slide off if they don't hit at the right angle. It's still not hard, but it's not as easy as the old adage would have you think. So proving TYT wrong is actually easier than shooting fish in a barrel.
