@jonnygranville281 I saw one of my neighbors getting arrested once just wearing shorts and no shirt, I shouted out to the cops "bro, can you at least let him put a hoodie on or something? It's cold as hell in those cells." They kinda looked back up at me like wtf, then they were like yea fair enough, and they took him back into his apt to get changed🤣 I performed a nice neighborly duty.

They love to take a surface level look at complicated problems, come up with a surface level solution that would likely only make things worse and create new problems, definitely not make anything better, and then accuse anyone that points out how stupid their idea is of "not caring enough".

@jonnygranville281 shit yea it is, and I think what makes it even worse is that it's the most boring experience ever, so you have nothing to do but sit there and think about how much your situation sucks. Including but not limited to how fucking cold it is.

At least do some reforms in the direction of not making it easier to just continue a life of crime after incarceration. It really is the path of least resistance, you get out and you're broke, often with no place to go except moving back in with family, it's hard to find a job, the easy way out is to just say fuck it and sell drugs or steal or whatever else it is you do that's easier than getting a job and working hard. And I don't know the real answer, I don't think there is a simple answer, and I completely understand why businesses wouldn't want to hire people with criminal records, and I don't want to make them. But there are things we could revisit.

@keegobricks9734 yea, I like that idea. And that kind of exists to some extent, like I know the waste management company in my area hires felons, they're very well known for it, and it actually pays pretty decent, at least compared to other low skilled labor. They'll basically hire anyone as a temp, just to ride around and pick up trash and shit. And if they do well they'll keep them on full time. Seems to be working out pretty well for them, maybe more companies like that will catch on, they've really done well carving out a niche in that way.

@teamtx1578 which is exactly why political debate is largely useless, every communist is going to think the communist won, no matter how much they show their ass, and no normal person is going to become a communist, even if the communist actually wins the debate. The most use I can see in these forms of debate is just getting more eyes on your channel, nobody mind is really getting changed because of it. Not any substantial amount of people at least.

@AdamKlownzinger there's this low info hack named Telltale that made a smear video about AJW once, and since he couldn't actually address his points, he just took little clips of Sean talking about how smart and awesome he is and pretended like he was being serious, "look how arrogant this guy is! This is what conservatives are all like!" It was laughable how bad his smear attempt was.

@malbasedvalentine3210 I really can't comprehend why people fall for that shit, and I really don't mean this as a humble brag, I don't even consider myself a super smart big brain, I'm just a normal guy. But I've known since a very young age, probably middle school, that if someone is trying to appeal to your emotions and convince you of something by implying you're a bad person if you don't go along with it, you should at the very least take a step back and think about what kind of personal motive they might have. That's just basic shit. And I'm not saying I'm immune to falling for stupid shit either, I'm sure as hell not, I could write a novel about the stupid shit I did for women when I was younger. Hell even now I fall for it sometimes. But the weak emotional appeals by communists are just so obvious, and so surface level. I can't even comprehend how damaged and brainless someone must be to fall for it.

@j3music789 lmao, yep, the religion and cult channel. He has severe TDS and has transitioned to basically a far left propaganda channel. He still does videos about Jehovah's Witness stuff, and crazy pastors and stuff like that, but more often than not it's some kind of orange man bad bullshit. The video he did about AJW was maybe a year ago? Somewhere in that range.

@j3music789 it's actually a damn shame, because his channel used to be great. That's the whole reason I even know about him, when he would just break down cults and religious groups I thought he made outstanding content, was really level headed and as objective as he could be about subjective material. His whole personality changed when he got into politics.

@j3music789 yea I was scrolling through looking for it too. It was specifically about AJW, I think it was something to do with one of the BLM false narratives. But, knowing Owen (Telltale) I wouldn't be surprised if he took the video down because he realized he showed his ass, and how dishonest he is. He's openly stated that he's all about deplatforming and silencing people with "bad ideas" and that he thinks the end justifies the means, because the right is a dangerous cult so the left needs to defeat them by any means necessary.

@j3music789 it's especially sad because I used to really like his content back in the day, when it was just strictly cult stuff. He had such a level headed approach to it, he didn't go into videos trying to prove that a group was a cult, or not a cult, he just examined the characteristics, applied it to the BITE model, and saw where it ended up. And he was raised Jehovah's Witness, that's why it's a passion project of his, his childhood was pretty jacked up, he developed a meth problem and had a rough road. And he's completely blinded by the fact that he's fallen into old ways, but now he's in the far left cult. And he thinks Trump supporters are a cult. Seriously, he made a video about that, that was kind of like the beginning of the end of his objectivity, and his transition into the realm of far left propaganda.

@commiezombie2477 I think he knows he's full of shit, but he also knows his viewers are stupid. It's easy money. Vaush is a lot of things, but I don't think he's stupid, I also don't think he's as smart as he thinks he is, but I think he's smart enough to know everything he advocates for is complete bullshit. He's lying, he knows he's lying, but he preys on stupid people who don't know any better.

@fumeck1674 I get what you mean, I'm only saying it's probably not doing a lot to convince the audience anyway. Maybe some people, but not many. Anyone dumb enough to think communism is a good idea is a defective person, there's no fixing them. Their brain is upside down and backwards, and they have no morality whatsoever, these are broken individuals who are not compatible with society, not now, not ever, not in any society even hypothetically.
