I'm more liberal about drugs than I am about most topics, I think generally speaking, if an adult wants to do drugs it's no big deal. But I still think there should be some kind of legal boundary with hard drug use, just as a deterrent and to try to keep it away from kids as much as we can. As long as all you're doing is doing drugs and nothing else illegal, you're probably not going to get caught or have any legal penalty against you. But just the fact that it is illegal is enough to deter some people from breaking other laws while they have drugs. It's a very important boundary.

@thesloppyjoes yep, and as long as you're not being stupid about it, nothing bad will happen. It's not like cops randomly kick people's doors down to make sure they're not popping pills or doing some lines. Leftists act like prisons are full of people who were just minding their business, smoking a little weed, no, the people in prison for drugs almost entirely are people who pled down from more serious charges. Nobody goes to prison just for having drugs. Jail for a few days, maybe, but not prison.
