These are also the same people who can't figure out if they're a boy, or a girl, or an alligator. So don't expect anything else they mouth fart about to make any sense.

@theimmortal4718 "exploitation" in leftspeak just means "I want more stuff, gimme more stuff!"

@theimmortal4718 it is pretty damn hilarious how the same people who are always whining about exploitation and people not actually earning what the make are also celebrity worshippers. And if there was one specific profession or group of professions that really don't actually produce anything of value, at least not in proportion to what they make, it's entertainers.

@JustinMF11 I'm still trying to get used to the idea of people advocating for higher taxes in the first place. I thought nobody wanted higher taxes, it was just one of those things that happened, because government sucks. Now there's people that actually want the government to have more money and power? That's a level of stupid my mind just can't comprehend.

@billybatson7852 costs don't tend to go down though. Ever since our government adopted the "money printer go brrrrr!" economic strategy, costs of pretty much everything across the board have only gone up, save for a couple of minor and temporary downticks here and there.

You also have to keep in mind that the majority of the sell outs were also probably friends of Epstein....

@JustinMF11 that's a tricky situation, it's one of the speed bumps that keeps me away from being full "big L" libertarian, because we definitely should have good roads, we all drive on the same roads. But it's hard to work out a solution where private enterprise does that without the governments dirty little fingers being involved in it. The way we're doing it now sure isn't it, I've lived in the Houston area all my life save for a few years in San Antonio, and the freeways are basically under construction for all eternity, probably 10% of the entirety of them. I'm absolutely certain there's a more efficient way to do that, I'm no engineer but I'm pretty sure it doesn't take 6 months to build a goddamn overpass, if you're really motivated to build it or otherwise your company sucks and another company will do it better. But who pays for it if it's not taxes?

@firstspectre3928 well even today's minimum wage would be somewhere in the ballpark of $20k a year, if you work full time. So that would require some pretty damn frugal living to afford payments on that plus food and other stuff, on the minimum wage of yesteryear.

The government is corrupt, and I'm a libertarian! -also the same people who want to solve every government problem with more government.

Yea but making a profit is bad, and capitalist greed. But only when other people do it. It's fine when I do it at my Starbucks job I call in sick to twice a week, while complaining about how I should make a "living wage". -every leftist
