Seriously, even if we were being as generous as possible, and assuming it was just an honest mistake, both parties legitimately thought they had rented the bike, any man with even an ounce of decency would have said ok, fair enough, you take it, I'll just get another. It's really not hard. And that's being irrationally generous, it's pretty clear that was not the case, they were deliberately trying to rob her because they thought they could use the shield of racism to get away with it.

@siewheilou399 I'm sure they have all that stuff, but the criminals probably just linger close by enough to watch for an easy target and follow them to somewhere they won't be as easily seen. You don't have to be a criminal mastermind, it's a pretty simple scheme.

Yep, sue every one of them. And they can probably lawyer up and weasel out of it by saying it was a "mistake", but even then you can force them to admit they're terrible journalists. We need to do this every single time they lie, so we have a paper trail 5 miles long of all of them admitting they suck at their job.

@RoberttAvro I've heard it's a pretty common thing with these ride rental programs. Most of them probably just aren't dumb enough to record the evidence.

Yep, it was piss poor journalism at best, pure malicious dishonesty at worst. And let's be real, it was malicious dishonesty. But by taking him to court, at the very least you can make him admit he's a terrible journalist.

I saw a guy arguing the other day that they were in the wrong for robbing her, but she was still in the wrong for overreacting. These people's brains are potatoes, I can't even imagine criticizing the behavior of the victim of a crime, and pretending like it's a 1 to 1 comparison, they're desperate for their narrative to be true.

And why is it that they immediately ran with the "racist Karen" narrative, and then after we find out that was completely false, the racism angle just gets dropped? There's actually a stronger case to be made that the robbers' actions were racially motivated, chances are they specifically targeted a white woman because they knew they could play the race angle to make it seem like they were the victims. We had NO evidence of her being racist even when the narrative was that she was robbing them, we have very strong evidence that they were motivated by racism, and nobody is talking about it.

@denisedavis371 it's pretty clear what happened, any skepticism I have is just default skepticism because I don't know with absolute certainty. But these men thought they could just bully a white woman into giving up a bike that she prepaid for, so they could joyride and laugh about punking a white person and just trash the bike, or keep it as a trophy. I think we can all see what this was. And it's disgusting, and the left keeps encouraging this kind of behavior.

They really, really, really want white people to be the villain. That's their default narrative with any video they see online, doesn't matter how illogical or unlikely it is.

@laurendearnley9595 I've seen lefticles trying to defend it by saying insurance would cover it, so she should have just given it to them. They live in a world where "insurance" means "magic money that falls out of the sky for anyone who needs it", I don't understand how they think SHE would be covered by insurance, I'm sure the city has insurance that covers their property, but they're not going to just wave away money that some random person owes. So stupid.

You have to really, really, reallllllly want white people to be the bad guy if you ever believed that a small, pregnant woman would try to rob 5 men who could each individually beat the shit out of her.
