I've unfortunately watched a fair amount of this show because an ex girlfriend watched it a lot, and Loni has been "the voice of reason" by default for a while. They used to have one of the girls from that Sister Sister show from back in the 90s but I guess she's not on it anymore, not sure what happened to her but I wouldn't be surprised at all if she left because of what you're saying, she would often push back on the HOW????? girl and the hot Asian chick, and they bullied her mercilessly, it was hard to watch.

Thank you, Get Out was garbage, I hate how everyone acts like it so great. I honestly don't think anyone actually liked that movie, I think 100% of the people who praise it are just pretending to like it because you're supposed to like it. It was boring, it wasn't surprising, it wasn't scary, it wasn't thought provoking, the best I can say for it is that it was well put together, good cinematography and good acting. But that doesn't make it a good movie. You can say the same for every single MCU movie, and I don't think anyone would claim all of those movies are great.

@liamsbest9 I don't know if I would say based, she's just not a bat shit insane far leftist. I would say she falls into the out of touch liberal category, she seems like a sweet girl but she's kinda dumb, kinda meek too. That's what made her an easy target for the other 2 to bully.

@wd4440 actually a lot of cult movies have underwhelming performances when they're released, either because of bad marketing, misunderstanding, or various other reasons. Fight Club is a prime example. Get Out falls into a completely separate category, it's popularity was purely manufactured, they preyed on racial guilt by using the power of suggestion and passively making people think you have to like it because racisms is bad.

I had an ex that watched it several years ago, that's unfortunately the only reason it's been on my radar since even before AJW started covering it. And this was when the world was slightly less bat shit insane, and it was still garbage back then. It's actually the first place I had ever heard the term woke, and remember thinking "what the shit is a woke? What's that hot Asian chick even talking about?"
