  8.  @sonotover  in a setting where a comedian is on stage to roast other celebrities, and you and your wife are also both celebrities, yes. It's a joke. If he was really that out of line, the "manly" thing to do is talk to him like a man and tell him the joke isn't ok. Like I dunno, maybe in the rehearsal, before he says the joke in front of the entire world (ok, maybe a bit hyperbolic, in front of all 28 people who still watch the Oscars.)

  14. Yea I can see both sides of it, you can say he should leave, and that's true, he should be able to find the strength to break out of that vortex of abuse, but humans aren't perfect, we're vulnerable and often do stupid things in the name of love.
