I'm so sick and tired of their dishonest double standards, they downplay everything that makes their side look bad and pretend like it's not as big of a deal as it actually is (like 570 violent riots in one year) and in the same breath will panic and fear monger over the smallest little things coming from the other side, and often completely manufactured fake news that doesn't even exist.

@jdackeretdackeret4039 isn't it pretty crazy how it was mostly conservatives that were appropriately concerned at first? And the left was telling us not to worry about it, we were being racist and alarmist. Then after a few weeks when we started seeing data about the actual risk, we were like ok, it's not so bad. And the left lost their shit and acted like it was toxic gas that instantly kills everyone who steps outside. Completely insane. They've been wrong about absolutely everything, since the very first day, in every direction you can possibly be wrong.

No kidding, I make the same mistake sometimes too. I saw a clickbait Pakman video and for a split second thought uh oh, that's no good, but then almost immediately remembered that he's a lying hack that couldn't even accidentally be honest. I watched the video anyway, and I was right.

What's sad to me is that I actually really want to like Kenan, he's a genuinely funny and talented dude. Sucks the left has such a stronghold on culture that you have to be a leftist to get work, look at how much Tim Allen faded off of the mainstream just because he was practically the only conservative actor.

I'm just south of Houston, I had to wear a mask at most businesses for a few months, but even in the beginning nobody cared that much, if I saw other people not wearing a mask I would take mine off and nobody ever said anything. My work slowed down to a crawl for the first 6 months or so, I work at a kennel that boards dogs, so our businesses relies pretty heavily on people taking vacations. So yea, that sucked, and now our business has picked up to even heavier than before covid, but we're understaffed, so that sucks. But I've really only felt secondary or tertiary effects, Texas didn't go too over the top.

@CoolPapaJMagik it is, but it's exceedingly rare. The majority of all the nutters that have been making headlines are just nutters that are easily manipulated.

@Mat-zf9bf yea, same. I don't think there's a one size fits all solution to it, but one thing is for sure, what the left is doing to impressionable and insecure young people is morally atrocious. I think they know that too, they'll just too dishonest to admit it.

@jessejive117 I think the most devastating effects of the pandemic response won't even be fully fleshed out for quite some time. There's an entire generation of kids that mostly only saw half of people's faces for over a year, during their most formative years, and were told to live their lives in constant fear. That's not good. A very, very large percentage of those kids are going to have serious emotional issues by the time they're teenagers. And it was "collateral damage", it was deliberate. The powers that be WANT to have a new generation of emotional cripples, who turn to the government to solve all their problems.

@Potemkin4U and they've had some funny cast members too, even in recent years. Nothing like the old days, that's for sure, but it's not like there's no talent on the show. The writing is just awful, all they care about is pushing a political agenda, I can't even say comedy is their second focus, it seems like it's barely the focus at all.

@yt_hatescrime_data4301 I only know of one person who's died, he was a customer at my work in his 40s, good health as far as I knew. That was pretty freaky, I feel horrible for his wife and kids. So it's definitely a real illness that has risk, I understand people have died. But the numbers are massively overblown and manipulated, and the left's reaction has been completely off in looney town.

@jessejive117 yea I get what you mean, it's definitely better that they're finally waking up rather than never. But I still don't think their motivations are genuine, I think they're only doing it because they know their dishonest house of cards is falling, and they're probably going to pretend like they didn't go completely bat shit insane for 2 years, as though we're all so stupid we'll just pretend the absolute shit show of the last 2 years never happened. So that's freaking annoying, you can already see what they're trying to do 10 steps ahead of time, and they know we know, and they don't care, because they know their idiot minion leftists will all just go along with it. But still, better late than never, I guess? And even if it's just theater, it's a step in the right direction.

@Eric Nunya well that's pretty damn fortunate. Man I saw this study that said babies born after covid have a significantly lower average IQ than before covid, I think the numbers are 100 all the way down to 78 if I'm remembering correctly. Now I do have a healthy amount of skepticism about the validity of these test's scientific authenticity, I'm skeptical of IQ tests in general. There's no test that exists that can completely take out the element of test taking skills, that's not the same thing as intelligence, and I know IQ tests do the best they can to eliminate that factor, but they can't reduce it to 0. Still though, considering the psychological and intellectual effects we already know that are linked to silent communication, especially in child development, I'm inclined to believe that study is at least mostly valid, the general idea at least.
