That new Netflix movie "You People" is absolute garbage, don't waste your time unless you want a good ole cringefest, but the one redeeming quality it had was that they were right on the nose about how awkward white liberals are when they jump through flaming hoops trying to prove how not racist they are, and how they're down with the POCs. And that was only loosely redeeming, because I honestly don't think that was meant as an intentional dig at white liberals specifically, I think that was meant to be directed at all white people. That's what this Latinx thing is. It's awkward white liberals being accidentally racist by trying too hard to be not racist.
