  1. Fascinating....so it's the conversion from electrical to optical data streams and vice versa that is a bottleneck? And the heat dissipation too? It reminds mme of the data flow from CPU or GPU to memory and back... similar problem isn't it? Errr... what's mala and boba (sp?), and why mustn't they be mixed? Great stuff, thank you. Cheers...
