  1. Hey man....another great electronics history lesson - thank you kindly! You were talking about US Navy efforts at breaking German code from subs during WW II - didn't the UK share their info on Enigma? Or I guess that was later... My brother was in the US Navy school at Monterey, CA in the 80s, and one of the things that he was allowed to show visitors was their Cray Supercomputer Center...it was suitably impressive! By now my laptop plus a couple NVIDIA GPUs could probably do the same job ;^[}
