I think Arkansas's growing population is because of the Fayetteville area. That area has a good economy, good schools and low poverty unlike the rest of the state.

And that's just one of them. Don't forget "If you have a problem deciding whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black". 😂

My grandparents took myself and my cousin on a Maine-New Brunswick road trip when I was younger. It was very enjoyable and I really liked New Brunswick.
26
Texas has no good reason not to be in the top 5 let alone top 10 lol
22
A lot of these surprised me. I honestly wasn’t expecting Wisconsin, Kansas, South Dakota, Maine, Hawaii or Delaware. West Virginia also surprised me not because it’s on the list but because it isn’t #1. States I was expecting to be on this list that weren’t include Missouri, New York and Ohio. I also wouldn’t have been surprised by New Jersey, Alabama, Massachusetts or Georgia.
22
Guess before watching: 10. South Carolina 9. Colorado 8. Nevada 7. Arizona 6. Idaho 5. Georgia 4. North Carolina 3. Utah 2. Florida 1. Texas
16
My top 10 Reasons NOT to move to those states: Connecticut: 10. Traffic 9. Weather 8. Fiscal Stability 7. Infrastructure 6. Unemployment Rate 5. Gas Prices 4. Politics 3. Cost of Living 2. Terrible Cities 1. Taxes Delaware: 10. Crime 9. Traffic 8. Boredom 7. Potholes 6. Divorce Rate 5. Politics 4. Floods 3. Wilmington 2. Pollution 1. It's dirty

That's cool I didn't know Massachusetts was your home state. It's my home state too and I have lived here my whole life so far although I'm only 19. I really like how it makes the best states to live in lists every year and I can understand why. Of course there are downsides to the state as well. I will probably move out soon mainly because it's very expensive with very high taxes and it's a little too liberal for my liking, but I can't deny it's one of the best states from a statistical standpoint. Also once I got to #3 on this list I knew the #1 spot would either be Massachusetts or New Hampshire.
13
@jeremyr3533 Texas is one of our best states you're lucky
11
There are a lot lol
10
Florida seems to be an up and coming state in terms of quality of life. I think Ron DeSantis has helped the state head in a positive direction and I hope it continues to.
8
Alabama isn't even the worst state lol
8
Or "Hold my gun"

@Zygothknightlord Those websites are wrong. I live in Massachusetts and I want to get out of here- cost of living and taxes are way too high, the roads suck and the politics here suck. Do yourself a favor and don't move here. New Hampshire and Washington are way better tho.
7
@ginah713 I heard Hot Springs is nice
7
@dakotareed2713 Lol not true 😂
5
@WinPeck We stayed in Saint Andrews
4
Also New Jersey which I don't understand
4
I live in New England

Iowa, North Dakota and Kansas are more boring than Nebraska. Nebraska is definitely not the most boring state but it's one of the most boring for most people.
4
@Zygothknightlord Utah and Minnesota are great. Texas, Idaho, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Iowa, Virginia, North Carolina and Georgia are great too. Colorado is great if you have a lot of money. Same with Wyoming and Montana.
4
Chicago is basically split into four major sections. Most of the North Side is nice, most of The Loop is nice, but the West Side has some nice neighborhoods and very bad ones, and the South Side has a few of the worst neighborhoods in the country from what I have heard. I think Chicago as a whole isn't a terrible city but it naturally has some very bad neighborhoods because of its size.
4
@riggedmint It borders Texas which is great. It might be okay because it's near Texas. I think that Northwest Arkansas also benefits from being near Missouri and Oklahoma so probably anywhere along the borders of those states is going to benefit from that. I would imagine the same is true with Texas.
4
@elvangulley3210 You're very biased Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, The Dakotas, The Carolinas, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah are all run by republicans do those states suck?
4
I am from Massachusetts and I agree. At least we're not as bad as New York though.
3
Guess before watching: 10. North Carolina 9. Wisconsin 8. Nebraska 7. Colorado 6. Massachusetts 5. Minnesota 4. Idaho 3. New Hampshire 2. Utah 1. Washington
3
@dvferyance True
3
As an American, I had no idea the Australian Capital Territory existed and I thought Canberra was part of New South Wales
3
@elvangulley3210 That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
3
Nope not even close. West Virginia and New York are way more racist then Tennessee and Texas among others.
2
Guess before watching: 10. Wisconsin 9. Wyoming 8. Montana 7. Utah 6. Oregon 5. Washington 4. Massachusetts 3. Idaho 2. Colorado 1. Texas
2
@TB-ij1vg Plus they are tons of great high paying jobs. Texas is great for many reasons but one of the main reasons is because it has a low cost of living AND great jobs and a great overall quality of life. Those two things rarely go together.
2
My top 10: 10. Minnesota 9. Wisconsin 8. Iowa 7. Virginia 6. Nebraska 5. Idaho 4. Utah 3. Washington 2. New Hampshire 1. North Carolina Honorable Mentions: Florida Texas North and South Dakota
2
@Zygothknightlord I don't like their government and the cost of living but besides that they're pretty good. Of course except for the riots and the homeless problem but that affects Washington too and is worse in California.
2
@peterkoster9390 They're pretty good. The Dakotas and Kansas are also good.
2
@SondraGates That's propaganda Texas is one of the best states
2
I agree but I also think Wyoming deserves a spot on this list. Also Florida, West Virginia and North Carolina all deserve at least an honorable mention. I would even give Texas an honorable mention because they have a great variety of scenery too from Big Bend National Park and the canyons, desert and mountains in the west to the plains in the panhandle to the Gulf of Mexico coastline and swamps and bayous near the Louisiana border.
2
@FromHeretoThere The only state on this list I disagree with is Hawaii just because it's super expensive and isolated from everywhere else and Virginia I wouldn't quite put in the top 10 but definitely the top 15 and probably top 12. I would replace Hawaii and Virginia with North Carolina and Wisconsin and I would give Texas at least an honorable mention.
2
@baileyware7411 I mentioned Alabama 3rd to last because it's not as bad as states like Mississippi and West Virginia.
2
Interesting
2
@jamesmylife6578 Not always and it's not the worst state. Mississippi and New Mexico are worse.
2
New Mexico is the worst state in my opinion mainly because of the things you stated but also because the cost of living is high for how bad it is and the jobs are low-paying so a lot of people from that state are stuck there. At least in Mississippi or Arkansas the cost of living is a lot lower so you can more easily escape to Texas or Oklahoma. Also, Mississippi, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana are all worse than Alabama. I also wouldn't consider Missouri, Tennessee or any of your honorable mentions to be among the worst states. I would replace Missouri and Tennessee with New Jersey and Delaware. I agree with the rest of your list but would just place them in a different order.
1
@nosah8415 Wisconsin is actually considered one of the best states at least statistically
1
@nosah8415 If you couldn't wait to get out you probably lived in Milwaukee
1
@TB-ij1vg Especially the Dallas-Fort Worth area is thriving
1
@TB-ij1vg I am from Massachusetts and I want to visit every state. I have never been to Texas but I really want to visit soon.
1
@TB-ij1vg I could live in Dallas
1
@FromHeretoThere Please do and also do worst states for 2021 or even better rank all of them from worst to best
1
Before watching I’m guessing the cold and cost of living will be in the top 5
1
Good point
