Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan just to name a few to have been great presidents but they still all have done bad things so I get what you're saying. However, they were still great overall.

I meant that great presidents aren't really a myth because we really have had great presidents but not saying they're perfect because they're not. For example, I would consider George Washington to have been a great president but he owned slaves.
