@tonic2123 yeah I’m shocked at the demographic change in my area. I go shopping and over half of the conversations I overhear are not in English. This is a major shift from what it was say 8-10 years ago. It doesn’t feel like America to me and can’t imagine what it looks like in 20 years .

If someone defends the cartels as being on survival mode then they are lost.. the street vendors and people working the fields are in survival mode - they need our sympathy, not the cartels exploiting and murdering their own people

@NoThankyou-h6q ok but then you need to blame the leaders of the country or city for not fixing their area. I mean, are people in Mexico voting the wrong people in year after year? Why is Mexico still a shithole decade after decade? I have sympathy for corruption but at some point the people have to start choosing, voting and doing better

@ListenToPowerViolence it’s a very bad thing when the incoming groups values clash with the group that’s already there. It’s fine if smaller amounts of immigrants are let in as long as they plan to assimilate .. people in UK want to maintain their culture which is perfectly rational
