I get why guys and women stay though - if you been with a woman for 15-20 years and she or he cheats - it’s brutal to break up and start over.. most people just cannot do that as they fear it so much which I totally get .. so they stay and try to get through it but it’s always on shaky ground . Out of all the guys I know personally, I’d say 90% are married or have gfs and the 10% that don’t are trying to find a partner ..   45. The biggest difficult being an autistic guy is having to initiate and do the small talk and flirting. In order to do that successfully you have to have good social skills AND know how to read social cues and know when to do or say certain things. To us on the spectrum this is completely exhausting! I can mask for short periods but then I need a lot of time away . Most neurotypical women need a guy that can meet her social and emotional needs - this is pretty much impossible for a guy on the spectrum

They would probably be much better if with the cooler but much more average looking girl that is down the road. Thing is, us guys really need that physical attraction to motivate us to pursue in the first place and if we aren’t that turned on by the woman it will be hard to be with her long term . . So it’s really not that easy to just meet and be with a woman that is better suited for us. Plus, many guys struggle to attract any women at all so it’s even harder for them
