First time hearing Tom Woods - he’s a very bright guy
26
It’s a term that’s starting to be used way too much .
20
Greg lukianoff is always a pleasure to listen to

I’ve also wondered lately as to the current mental health crisis we have now. How is it when we live in the safest and most comfortable time in history where mental health awareness and treatment has never been better yet we are seeing mental illness explode? Depression, anxiety, suicide and drug overdose are all riding.. I mean what is happening here?

You don’t have to be wealthy to attract a woman lol. I know plenty of guys that make average $ and some below average and they are married. You guys gotta just get out there and meet women - you’ll find one that is fine without even though you don’t make great money
12
But he’s mostly right. Andrew Tate is not a good role model for our kids . I cannot even watch his podcast appearances as he just endlessly brags.. meh
11
@aussiewanderer6304 the fact that you think one needs to be wealthy just to attract a woman tells me you either are not good at attracting woman or you’ve never tried .. there are jobless guys out there that do great with women
11
@Goestohollywood-l8x yeah this wasn’t a debate but a discussion and a good one at that

Peter realizes the structure of religion is important for society but also realizes many take religion too far. I think he’s going to realize there isn’t another system that will work as well as Christianity though

Agree, Rudyard just does not have enough actual life experience and wisdom yet

1:27:00. A great point that I’ve been thinking the past few years - the older more sensible folks on the liberal/left side have got to step in and “hold the fort” so to speak .. they can’t just let the hornets of younger radical woke students plow them over. Tragically at this point I couldn’t be more disappointed in my older liberal/leftist friends .. only a small amount have even tried speaking out against this madness so I struggle picturing the rest of them standing up now. The massive amount of cowardice I’ve seen since 2020 has been very disheartening and there’s not much we can do about it which is even More frustrating

Agree. The biggest problem with Trump isn’t his personality or policies - it’s how half the country reacts to him. They lose their minds
5
You think Gillespie is a clown? He seems pretty measured and intelligent to me
4
Good discussion 👍👍👍

I passed out candy yesterday and I’d say 90% of the adults I saw were fat.. unreal How unhealthy we are as a society
4
I know my nephew and nieces have never rode their bikes out and explored the outside of their neighborhood. They’ve never built a tree fort or snow fort. They don’t walk around at night and get into trouble lol. They don’t walk live very rigid and safe lives and it’s sad lol

I don’t know what to do or say about Andrew Tate. I haven’t watched that much about his values and beliefs to have a good read on who he is or what he represents. He is playing a character as well so it’s hard to tell who he really is in his private life. I don’t really consider him to be a pump yet I don’t really think what he does is good either. The simps that pay for that stuff are another result of our weak society How do we change things though? Mainstream messaging to men is broken and from what I’ve heard it’s only getting worse in k-12 and academia .. so I see more Andrew Tates coming out of the woodwork
3
@DadSavesAmerica while your generation was watching over them is what I assume he means
3
TRT is a good idea for men in RFKs age bracket .. he looks a lot better than other men his age and he most likely feels much better than them as well.. I have no idea what to think about RFKs stance on vaccines though - Nick made him out to seem a bit deranged though
3
@Easttowest45 I like Rudyard but yeah he has a lot of holes in his worldview . Plus he falls too much in the “society just hates men” bs too but his subscribers eat that up
3
Peter needs to recognize that some hood has come from the woke movement but it’s also caused more than a few problems. I worry that Peter has crossed into the “too anti-woke” category and like you said those types seem to be stuck in their own ideology of sorts

It’s just weird as I live in a small town. Very safe and full of parks. I take my dogs for a walk on nice summer days and there aren’t kids outside - they aren’t out walking around or riding bikes.. At night it is dead quiet - they aren’t even hanging out in their yards .. it is so odd that they all seem To be inside the house - they are missing out on what life has to offer
2
@fracyoulongtime8123 we all took it for granted . We were all in such a hurry to grow up for some reason but then when we start “adulting” we realize it’s not exactly all it’s cracked up to be and we want to go back to our youth lol
2
I assume you mean when it comes to divorce right? One could say it doesn’t work well for women that well either when it comes to sexual assault .. that said, we have the best legal system in history
2
Great episode

I’m more disappointed in the simps that pay for that content more than the guys and girls that supply it
2
Same here, I went to school in late 80s and early 90s and hated it. The long hours sitting and not really digesting what was being said. Thing is, we had gym and recess back then so that was an outlet .. I can’t imagine not having either Oh and yes, boys need fathers in the home. I love my mother but I wince at the things she taught me growing up. I’m glad my dad was there

What do atheists think in terms of the meaning of life? I’ve heard some say that life is simply clumps of cells that formed and adapted/evolved. One day we will die. I don’t know about you but that is quite a bleak picture and I say this as someone that isn’t religious .
1
Paglia is truly amazing. Her brain is like a machine gun and yes that’s a compliment lol
1
Walk away from what? Women? If you think that is a practical solution for most men then you are deluded
1
Yep. I’m more angry at the men paying for porn than I am Andrew Tate
1
The strangest thing about the post-modern types is if they think all systems are built upon power and that there is no objective truth - they want to dismantle these systems but replace them with what exactly? How do they plan to build a society without realizing certain truths? How will they build bridges or create vaccines? I find their ideology to be quite bizarre and can’t believe it has gained as much traction in academia as it has
1
@sdrc92126 . In self worth yes but not in other ways. Both men and women have strengths and weaknesses
1
Nick is just saying that if you measure quality of life by all metrics - that we on 2024 are doing much better than our ancestors were 50-100 years ago. I do think he’s right in that many folks today don’t remember history that well as our lives today are so Much easier in many ways. I think this ease and comfort has actually made us search for problems instead of just being thankful for what we have

I am honestly shocked that this podcast doesn’t have at least a million subs at this point .. funny how the YouTube algorithm works
1
Well religion has caused quite a few terrible things through history .. it does seem to provide purpose and meaning to many though
1
So find a place and rent. You guys are completely stuck on not being able to afford a home. It is unfortunate but constantly obsessing and complaining about it doesn’t help anything ..
1
@betrayedcitizen5135 I’ve mostly completely fatigued with the entire woke discussion. Way too many bad faith people to make it worth it
1
@ms-jl6dl which makes me wonder how did the right lose all of the institutions? Did they give up along the way or are their arguments that inefficient?
1
I remember many days of friends coming over and us all going for long bike rides out into the country and we explored .. damn that was fun .. my nieces and nephews just do not do that sort of thing and that’s sad
1
I like Rudyard but he very obviously Lives on twitter or X . These folks really need to go outside more often
1
I really miss John Hughes movies - he was able to capture the teenager and the various peer groups and interactions between better than anyone else.. high school movies these days are so bad
1
I agree. This is a great channel but isn’t really popular
