@KombaynNikoladze2002 yeah I bet a lot of these guys that claim they aren’t having kids due to family court are the same guys that aren’t dating at all - most likely because they’d rather play videogames or god forbid pay to watch other people play videogames on twitch 😳

@DrinkyMcBeer but most people are painfully average and aren’t having kids because they don’t want to sacrifice vacation or videogame playing time. Let’s be honest here

@teekay_1 I think many of these people are going to find that out down the road.

Yeah every time I go to the store the prices keep going up! It’s awful

@dakotadak100 I’m thinking that life being so cushy for people is why they seem to want to seek out the bad things and embellish them? I can totally understand people in war torn countries saying how bad everything but most of the people crying about how terrible everything is most likely live in a 1st world country and live a pretty cushy life. It’s interesting how that works I can’t even imagine how easy things will be in say 50 years and how lazy(and fat) everyone will be. We have a major obesity epidemic right now in America

Narcissism is playing a big part of people not having kids.. laziness too

I’d love to see your daily schedule - I bet you spend a lot of time and energy watching YouTube or tik tok .. lol at “no time, no energy”.. people these days are sedated and lazy .. not all but many . It’s very rare that I go out and see someone that’s in decent physical shape

@Mellonen-Galadh many people truly wanted kids though. The vast majority of older people I know said it was something they greatly looked forward to. They knew it would be very hard work and would require sacrifice but that it would be very rewarding. Many people today don’t want to have to sacrifice anything - they want an easy life .. one of pure comfort - it’s no wonder why depression is on the rise

Ehh but many poor people are having kids. Many have more than one. I think the growing number of people that don’t want kids are more than likely able to afford them but are too narcissistic or selfish and don’t want to have do without the things they want. Plus, many people are just straight up lazy and probably should not be having children

@KRAMITDFROG . “Only they didn’t have the internet to tell them how badly they had it” This is a huge part of it! People today are safer than they’ve ever been and quality of life(judging by pretty much all metrics) continues to go up every year. Crime keeps going down . Yet people act like life and society has never been worse and it’s so strange. The device they have in their pocket that alerts them every 3 seconds to tell them about the latest tragedy probably isn’t helping. You then have YouTube channels that sell doom and gloom and other toxic bs and yeah More people need to put their phone down more and go outside more often. Smile and talk to people. Move their body and break a sweat
