Yep there was shame on folks that cheated or slept around or had kids out of wedlock - these days there isn’t.. all forms of behavior are acceptable and that makes for a very broken dating system .. I’m not saying we should return to hyper religious values but they did have quite a few good ideas to keep society functioning

  3. “Unresolved mental issues” I’m a straight guy that’s noticed this about quite a few women I’ve dated.. nice at the beginning but then another version quickly pops up and it’s not workable. I usually point them towards a therapist and eject .. What’s not helping is how mental illness is seen these days . There are so many disorders and everything is trauma related and it’s exhausting. When I hear a woman talk about her trauma - I immediately start to back away from her as I know what’s coming down the road

  4.  @9roselove9 no I’m sorry. The term ‘racist’ started to lose all meaning 4-5 years ago. We have went crazy since so most adults - when they hear someone accused of being “racist” just roll their eyes. Trans-phobic is the same way

  18. I find many younger people especially have completely warped expectations of what dating and relationships are. They expect it to be easy and comfortable and without hiccups - I’m sorry but that’s not reality .. dating requires constant effort as do relationships .. folks these days just give up when their relationship hits a rocky patch And then you have dating apps which really warp things

  21.  @itsbecky_13 . “Dating is too much work” It’s a big mistake to wait until your career is set to start dating though.. seriously, you can’t wait until your late 20s or early 30s to start dating as then the pool of available singles has dwindled and the dynamics are completely different
