Australia's coal exports to India have increased. "The increase in coal exports was driven by thermal coal, up $203 million, with an increase of $116 million to India. Australian coal exports to India have been steadily rising since mid-2020, following a substantial reduction in Chinese demand for Australian coal." - Australian Bureau of Statistics for May 2021.

The Ten Great Campaigns (Chinese: 十全武功; pinyin: Shíquán Wǔgōng) were a series of military campaigns launched by imperialist Qing dynasty of China in the mid–late 18th century during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (r. 1735–1796). President Xi's argument is based on historical Imperial China's Ten Great Campaigns (Chinese: 十全武功; pinyin: Shíquán Wǔgōng). They included three to enlarge the area of Qing control in Inner Asia: two against the Dzungars (1755–1757) and the "pacification" of Xinjiang (1758–1759). The other seven campaigns were more in the nature of police actions on frontiers already established: two wars to suppress the Gyalrong of Jinchuan, Sichuan, another to suppress the Taiwanese Aboriginals (1787–88), and four expeditions abroad against the Burmese (1765–1769), the Vietnamese (1788–1789), and the Gurkhas on the border between Tibet and Nepal (1790–1792), with the last counting as two. Imperial China is an imperialist power that led to the engagement with European powers. Example from Sino-Burmese Wars, Imperial China invaded the Konbaung dynasty of Burma (Myanmar) multiple times. During the 4th Sino-Burmese Wars starting in 1768, Imperial China invaded the Kingdom of Burma. Burma hired European musketeers and gunners, hence Burma allied itself with the rising French Empire against Imperial China's invasion. The old world issues didn't disappear.

@madeinchina1450 Wrong. Australia has exported both thermal and coke coal to China.

@lachry4019 For energy-related sectors, Australia exports lithium (EV battery), nickel (EV battery), cobalt (EV battery), coal thermal, natural gas, and uranium.

Australia and the EU have failed FTA not just failed Mercosur-EU FTA. Australia is a member of CPTPP.

On 16 August 2003, Libya formally admitted responsibility for Pan Am Flight 103 (Lockabie bombing) in a letter presented to the president of the United Nations Security Council. "On 10 March 2011, France was the first country in the world to recognise the National Transitional Council as the legitimate government of Libya". United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 was adopted by the United Nations Security Council on 17 March 2011 in response to the First Libyan Civil War. The Security Council resolution was proposed by France, Lebanon, and the United Kingdom. Muammar Gaddafi played stupid games and win stupid prizes. The US supported France(EU)'s and UK(EU)'s, and Lebanon's United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973. NATO wasn't used until United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973 since it was vetoed by Turkey.

@Vercixx It's France's virtue signaling while maintaining French colonies.

@carkawalakhatulistiwa Don't stereotype. Spanish and British empires have been largely dismantled. Russian Federation still has an imperialist empire from the Russian empire.

@priceprice_baby Note that China's large-scale dam-building has caused droughts in Indochina and northern India, hence China has indirectly created alternative markets for Australia.

@MartinDiStasio FYI, Australian coal exports have increased with India. China is not the only country with large energy needs.
1
@hughmungus2760 China is not the only country with coal inputs.

@ninojanjeremygo463 >they can't complain! Australia must learn from Communist China as their model of success Australia implements its own foreign interest register similar to CCP's. CCP hates it when another country throws the same book at them. Australia implements its CCP style Market Access Negative List (a.k.a. investment restrictions) against CCP state companies. CCP hates it when another country throws the same book at them. Reciprocal trade is a simple concept to understand.
